The concept is based on the use of natural textures of wood, stone, marble, and textile combined with a neutral black-and-white palette. Contemporary art plays the leading role here, revealing the depth of the space and setting the vector of movement:
"We are greeted by Vladimir Kustov’s 'Flight of Birds,' then we immerse ourselves in the natural landscapes of Alexey Gan and feel the relief of his large metal vertical works. In the dining room, we receive the next emotional charge from a large, two-meter-long textural abstraction—it holds calm and balance, precisely what is important to feel when coming to the house for the weekend."—Tatiana Alenina
The house incorporates numerous custom elements produced in collaboration with the furniture atelier of Sergey Kartashov. These bespoke, hand-finished pieces exist in harmony with iconic design objects.
The project avoids declarative gestures, its atmosphere instead recalls the warmth of monochrome cinema, serving as a backdrop for a deliberate life in nature, enriched by moments spent with family and friends.
From the birds at the entrance to the spaceship in the living area, the space composes a seamless path for contemplation. Here, imagery gently encourages reflection on time and motion. Thought naturally ascends from the terrestrial toward distant horizons, all while maintaining an essential, interior silence.
